Hoo Hah!  Is it Friday again already?  Let's see what's cooking in the world of Food Blogs, eh?  On my first visit to Kayln's Kitchen, I found tasty recipes for Spicy Mexican Slaw and Chipotle-Lime Devilled Eggs.  Ah, a little bit o' Springtime is in the air, folks!

I recently visited Gastronomical Three, a charming food blog written by three gals out in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  The blog features some well written posts reflecting food and daily life along with some superb photography.  Two recent posts included recipes for Turkey & Wild Mushroom Risotto and Porkchops & Gremolata, Braised Fennel.

One food blog I hadn't visited in awhile is New Orleans Cuisine (which sports authentic Cajun/Creole recipes of all stripes) --- I found this blog has maintained its high level of quality and its focus on Southern food traditions.  Great stuff to be found here!  If you're a fan of the hearty cuisine found in Nawlins then you owe it to yourself to stop by this here blog.  Special Mention--- the most recent post was about a visit to Galatoire's restaurant which is my favorite eatery in the world.  For many years my wife Loretta, daughter Molly and I would always journey down to New Orleans and have Easter dinner at Galatoires.  Ahhhhhhhhhh.... sweet memories!

One blog I've always seen mentioned around the Web is The Traveler's Lunchbox.  Well, I finally made it over to that site and I found an abundance of  excellent food writing and photography.  The most recent post covers a citrus preserve known as Mandarin Jam.  The theme of this blog (food around the world) is effectively portrayed.  Take a trip with this blogger today!

This week's Comfort Food Post of the Week Award goes to the Pebble Soup blog for their wonderful post titled "A Good Cook is Like a Soceress Who Dispenses Happiness".  The post features a great recipe for Stuffed Onions which is features porcini mushroom and tomato flavors.  The dish is the type of hearty fare I'm usually looking for in these waning days of winter.  Let's eat!

Have A Great Weekend Everybody!

Thanks for featuring my recipes. Both of those were definitely keepers for me. Fun finding your blog too.
