Each week, we scan the cyber soup to find the top food related blog posts!

From the Salt Lake Tribune posted a interesting article on using a laptop computer in the kitchen which foreshadows (probably) the way folks will cook and share recipes in the not-so-distant future--say, how does virtual food taste anyhow?

The food blog, This Food Thing, posted a really nice recipe for Fresh Apple Cake with Butterscotch Sauce!  Mmmm, sounds good---I gotta ask this blogger to e-mail me a slice!

From the Meathenge site: a pictured filled recipe for California-style red chili and cornbread that looks mighty tasty.  I found myself popping open a cold beer as I perused this site---a good sign (for me)!

From one of my favorite blogs, Homesick Texan, comes a post about the bloggers trip to her family farm in Texas.  I really enjoy visiting this site because the writing is always superb and in the moment.  It's well worth your time to mosey on over there and check this blog out!

An iteresting announcement from the tracingpaper.org.uk site which deals with the start up of FeedReel, a info gathering site on British food blogs.  If you're like me, you'll like checking out some new food blog action!

One of the most consistent and interesting food blogs out there in the cyber soup is The Old Foodie; it's a site on which the blogger presents historical recipes from days past.  One recipe that caught my eye this week was a curious tidbit called Parmesan Cheese Ice Cream!  The real question for me is if I make this stuff, do I have to tell my family what's really in it?  Nawwww!

Until next time, we'll keep scanning the cyber soup!  Adios!
