Homestyle Tartar Sauce

book1.gifHere's a simple and easy recipe for tartar sauce.  It's great to have on hand when you fry up a batch of fresh seafood!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup diced Celery & Onion, chopped coarse
  • 1 cups Sweet Pickle Relish
  • 2 cups Mayonnaise
  • 1 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 TBS Malt Vinegar
  • 1 TBS Frank's Red Hot Sauce
  • 1 tsp fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp ground White Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dill Weed
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt

Cooking Procedure:  Place the celery and onion in a food processor.  Process the celery & onion for 10 seconds and then add the remaining ingredients.  Process until smooth; about 30 to 45 seconds.  Place the tartar sauce in a tightly sealed container and reserve in the fridge until ready to serve.
