 If you're looking for a chuckle or two, the 7 Days Omnivore blog has posted a series of links to humorous articles from The Onion magazine titled Eating The Onion!

 From The Greasy Spoon blog comes a detailed post on Black Pudding.  "What's Black Pudding?"  It's a type of blood sausage!  For those of you who are not squeamish about this type of culinary adventure, check out Black Pudding!

 The Culinary Chase blog has a delightful recipe for Pepper, Red Onion & Goat Cheese Frittata---a really nice blend of fresh flavors to be found here!

 I don't know about you guys, but I like the cleansing taste of a nice sorbet.  The Poulet Basquaise blog has a dandy sorbet post titled Wine Works Wonders Once Again---a great read!

 There's a nice instructional post on How To Blanch Almonds on the Foo(d) Bar blog.  It's always great to pick up a new handy how-to kitchen tip, right?

 The Super Chef blog has a post with a historical slant to it that's titled R.I.P. Peg Bracken: I Hate To Cook Book which discusses the life & legacy of Peg Bracken who espoused the use of "convenience foods, mixes and canned foods that would free women from the drudgery of the kitchen."

 I'm pleased to announce that the Sullicom blog has named The Chef From Hell Grand Champion in their first Sauce Off in which various bloggers submit recipes for their favorite BBQ sauces.  If you haven't checked out Sulliman's blog yet, do so!  He's always got a unique "take" on things---just recently he had a great post on Kentucky Burgoo (he being a native Kentuckian, one feels they're getting the inside dope on this culinary classic) which describes the true place burgoo holds in the lives of native Kentucky folk.  It's a very descriptive post which details the types of burgoo parties that go on down there this time of year.
